Chef Matteo Silverman of California, USA has created and launched the menu. Matteo is excited to bring his passion for delicious healthy eating here to San Juan del Sur.
Matteo Silverman began his career in the San Francisco restauarnt scene working at the famous Greens, Millennium and Paul K. restaurants. He graduated San Francisco State University with a BS in Restaurant Hospitality Management. Moving to New York City, he graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute and ran 4-Course Vegan, a supper club in Brooklyn. He also worked privately for high-profile clients including Russell Simons, Montel Williams and Norma Kamali. He currently owns and operates Chalk Hill Cookery in California. Matteo always strives to elevate vegan cuisine to the respect it deserves, seeking fresh, seasonal ingredients that are local, organic and sustainably grown. Here at Buddha's Garden in Nicaragua Matteo loves connecting with local farmers growing organically or sustainably. He also loves featuring local ingredients in the menu including coconut, chilies, avocadoand cacao.
